 Without words, music has often been used throughout history to tell stories; folk tales, bluegrass music, jazz, classical almost every genre of music has been used to tell stories and pass our history down from one generation to the next. Each instrument has a different sound and a different story to tell, just as each piece of music does. Join us as we explore the different musical works and individual musical elements that help music tell a story. Presented by The Lexington Philharmonic. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
